Success story! I bought an old truck with 225k miles on it, and my brother told me the best thing I could do for it would be to change all the fluids. Then he shared this video with me. This video gave me the confidence to get it done myself, and I'm so grateful! I even got extra thorough and did a complete flush of the coolant, complete drain of the transmission (including the torque converter, which had a drain plug), and I removed, cleaned, and painted the differential covers. It was actually fun! I just finished the job and took it out for a joy ride and she runs beautifully! So stoked! Next I'm moving on to your video about detailing the engine bay. It's covered in old grease and stays hot for a while after shutting off, so I think cleaning it will help a lot. Thanks Chris!

Chris I want to let you know that these couple days I: super cleaned my engine bay ( it is looking beautiful now), I super flushed my cooling system and removed the coolant tank from the car to give it a tlc, I super flushed my power steering fluid, the steering pump has been making noises lately and today I teste drove the car and it was silent AND I changed my headlights and taillights bulbs. All this for the first time working on a car. You should have seen me Chris, I was so confident like I knew exactly what I was doing 😄 Thank you man for these wonderful videos you’ve put on, I’ve been following you for years now and you’re AWESOME ❤️❤️

Not sure if you'll see this, but right before I left for college I decided to flush my brakes after watching this video, since it looked easy enough and the fluid in my car looked old and my brakes felt squishy. Today, I had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident in pouring rain, and I just barely was able to come to a stop behind the car in front of me. Had I not flushed my brakes, it's very possible I would've smashed headfirst into their car. tl;dr it's very possible you just saved my life, an innocent stranger's life, or both of our lives by showing how easy it was to flush my brakes. Thank you so much good sir
