Now you show up with this video, huh? I had to troubleshoot it for almost a year to find out that there was corrosion under the ground cable the body AND the positive terminal had the very same problem because of those metal cups ending to keep cables together but no solder. Removing the little cup took all the intermittent problems away

I've gone to start my car and it not do anything, but the power is still on. I freaked out until I realized my car was in drive and on the Volvo 240 you can't start it out of neutral or park, but for some reason you can take the key out when it is.

Used to happen to my 97 V6 Mustang then I did that to the battery, continued to do it, changed out the battery completely, still did it, then I changed out my Alternator, I still had the problem but it needed to be changed out anyway, then I changed my starter and then it never happened again

Only a total fraud has that many leads coming off the positive terminal...the same type of loser that didn't put any dielectric grease on those two cables before clamping them to that crappy aftermarket, cheap battery terminal.

Also check that your battery ground wire is connected well to the body of the car - I had that problem and it took week to figure out as the connection was good enough sometimes and not good at other times.

Yes if the cables are corroded your car won't start but what happens if they're completely clean and tight there are a host of other things that could stop your car from starting. A buddy brought his car to a shop and they had the car for 2 days and could not figure out why the car wouldn't start, I had the car for 1 hour and figured it out that it was the ignition switch mechanism in the steering column, so there are many things that will stop your car from starting

Shop would of made money off an easy fix like that. I had the same thing. I thought battery so I changed it, then I said alternator, got it tested 4 times and all was good. I finally seen it was corrosion. I cleaned and it started up. I over looked it when changing battery and I’ll never do that again. I spent 200 for no reason.
